Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy works through one of the few senses connected directly to the brain's centers of memory and emotion—scent.
Each essential oil is chosen with intention, by what your body and nervous system are asking for in this moment — calming, grounding, clarifying, restoring. As you breathe, the body begins to respond before the mind has time to think, inviting the nervous system into balance, one breath at a time.
Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of essential oils — concentrated aromatic compounds extracted from flowers, leaves, bark, roots, and resins — to support physical, emotional, and nervous system wellbeing.
What makes aromatherapy unique is its direct route to the brain — scent travels through the olfactory system straight to the limbic system, the brain's center for memory and emotion, often shifting mood or settling the breath before there's time to think.
Oils may be diffused, diluted and applied to the skin, or incorporated into massage, always selected with care for each person sensitivities.
Each essential oil carries a distinct chemical profile, thus different effect on the nervous system; selecting the right oil is an art, drawing on botanical knowledge and attentiveness to what each body needs.
Aromatherapy it is a complementary practice, known for reducing stress, improving sleep, and comforting the nervous system.
